We’re taking a quick look at some of our highlights from 2025, and we’re inviting you to take a trip down memory lane with us. Here are a couple of the interesting and unique projects we completed:
‘The Vault’ – Nobleton, ON
- Installed: Fall 2025
- System Type: Vault
- Municipal project
- Volume: 7,607 m3
- System purpose:
Stormcon worked with Schaeffers Consulting Engineers to design the stormwater management system for a new subdivision in Nobleton, ON. Stormcon designed and specified both quantity and quality control for the site using the Vault system and an OGS unit.
The Vault system comprises GreenStorm and StormCrete. StormCrete provides upstream water quality control, which when paired with an OGS unit was designed to achieve 80%TSS removal. Downstream, a GreenStorm system was designed to provide extended detention for the subdivision.
All this infrastructure was integrated beneath the park. This solution delivers advanced stormwater management for the subdivision while preserving valuable, usable greenspace above the system.
GreenStorm Municipal Project – Chippawa, ON
- Installed: Spring 2025
- System Type: GreenStorm
- Municipal project
- Volume: 5,412 m3
- System purpose:
Stormcon worked with R.V. Anderson Associates (RVA) to design the stormwater management system for a new subdivision in Niagara Falls. The system, which will be municipally assumed, was designed to store 5,412.26 m³ of stormwater.
At the inlets, Stormcon collaborated with RVA to incorporate maintenance rows, reducing the time and cost required for system upkeep. Each inlet includes treatment rows and box manholes, providing ample space for personnel and maintenance equipment to easily inspect and maintain the system. A dry pond located above the system provides additional storage during heavy storm events. Overall, the design delivers a safer and more efficient stormwater management solution while maximizing usable greenspace within the development.
